Lynks Quest: FĂȘte nationale – Gilles Vigneault

Les Guinguettes invited Homies to create an on-site quest for the FĂȘte nationale du QuĂ©bec. The experience guided visitors through 7 interactive checkpoints, revealing the life, legacy, and music of Gilles Vigneault, including his iconic  Gens du pays. Festival-goer who completed the quests unlocked rewards, redeemable for perks and snacks on-site —combining cultural discovery with playful interaction

The goal was to elevate the festival with an interactive experience that celebrated Quebec’s heritage. Instead of a static exhibit, the quest offered a mobile, geo-located journey through storytelling, music, and on-site participation—creating a memorable way for visitors to connect with the FĂȘte nationale spirit

The quest drew festival-goers into an educational yet entertaining journey, keeping them on site longer and driving foot traffic and revenue to partner food vendors. The rewards added value as a tangible takeaway, while the storytelling format made the cultural content more engaging. It demonstrated how Homies can turn celebrations into an immersive, trackable festival activation.
